Everyone needs a hobby.
I love being given unique and challenging problems to solve. The ask is always simple, “Can you make this?” and my answer is always simple too, “Yes…probably…maybe. It depends.”
Face Shields for Free
I first started donating 3D printed face shields to medical professionals in my neighborhood. It quickly expanded nationwide after raising over $5000 in donations. Using six 3D printers running around the clock, I printed over 2,000 shields for frontline medical workers in 2 months.
Prop Maker - Rubik’s Cube Mosaic Display
I was asked to design and build a freestanding wooden frame that could hold 1000 Rubik’s Cubes and look good on camera while doing it. The outcome was amazing…I still can’t solve a Rubik’s Cube.
Prop Maker - Fidelity Charitable
What happens when you combine CAD, 3D printed jigs and hundreds of cards cut out with a water jet? I’m not sure…but it sure looked neat.
Prop Maker - BASF Biologicals
Winches, bank vaults, cloth plants, bamboo, other random words.
